The latest innovation from Bad Idea features its own form of cryptocurrency where its First Customer Pins can be used to buy two new titles.
The latest innovation from the publisher Bad Idea features a set of comics that can only be purchased with the First Customer Pins available back in March.
This new form of cryptocurrency dates back to the debut of ENIAC and the gold ENIAC First Customer Pin. Those who possess these pins will be able to redeem them for two new Bad Idea comics: Werewolf by Peter Milligan, Robert Gill and Andrew Dalhouse, and Retirement Plan by Matt Kindt, Juan José Ryp and Andrew Dalhouse. According to Bad Idea, “you may redeem one copy of either Werewolf or Retirement Plan (also mucho bragging rights) from BAD IDEA. To redeem a copy of each comic, you must send TWO First Customer Pins. We will not accept redemptions of more than one copy of either comic per person. We weren’t kidding about Rule #1. One. Per. Customer. Choose wisely.”
Instructions include sending in First Customer Pin(s), a check or money order for $9.99 for each comic to cover shipping and handling ($29.99 each if international), along with your name, full address where you wish the comic(s) to be sent, whether you want a copy of Werewolf, Retirement Plan or both (two pins for both), email address and phone number to Bad Idea’s address of 5455 S Fort Apache Rd, Suite 108-154, Las Vegas, NV 89148-6416. The final criteria is all redemptions must be postmarked by or before Sept. 25, with checks made payable to “Cincinnati Kid LLC.”
If you aren’t in possession of a First Customer Pin and would like to procure one, there will be two more chances before the deadline concludes. More First Customer Pins will be released with the debuts of Pyrate Queen #1 and #1. Both titles debuted on Sept. 1.
