Among Us’ cultural saturation has reached new highs, as it was announced today that the social deduction game would be getting a manga adaptation in the February edition of Bessatsu Corocoro, a monthly Japanese manga magazine.
“How on earth,” you might ask, “can they turn Among Us into a manga?” Well, it wouldn’t be the first time that someone has dramatised the story – this short film has over 11 million views, turning the goofy murder-your-friends game into a genuinely tense thriller:
The magazine will be available in Japan on the 4th February, 2022, although it’s not clear if it’s a one-off or a series, or where it’ll be set, or if it will come out in other languages. If anyone manages to grab a copy, let us know what the story is!
