ALLIGATOR LOKI debuts on Marvel Unlimited

[ad_1]

The first entry in an all-new 12-part Alligator Loki Infinity Comics series by Alyssa Wong, Robert Quinn, and Pete Pantazis, and edited by Katelyn Gregorowicz, has arrived on Marvel Unlimited! New issues of the (so-far) dialogue-free series, which you can read with a subscription to Marvel Unlimited, will be made available every other Friday.

Alligator Loki made his first appearance as the “last page reveal” of the fourth episode Loki’s first season on Disney+, “The Nexus Event.” A variant of Loki from another timeline, Alligator Loki was created by head writer Michael Waldron. On Twitter, Loki writer Eric Martin revealed that he was based on Wally, a real-life support alligator who helps his owner Joie Henney deal with his depression.

You guys know there are other worlds than these, right?

In the first issue of the comic, “Family Bonding,” Alligator Loki and Thor prime visit an amusement park to get to know each other better. But while this little green variant is indeed adorable, the press release warns that he has the same attributes as Loki Prime. Look out, Thor! Mischief is afoot (aclaw?)!

This is not the first time that the Marvel Unlimited Infinity Comics have flirted with the Marvel Cinematic Universe. In Hulking & Wiccan, for example, Agatha Harkness got to enjoy her newfound WandaVision popularity. And an Infinity Comic starring Pizza Dog was released alongside the debut of Hawkeye on Disney+.

Meanwhile, Melissa, M.O.D.O.K.’s daughter from Marvel’s M.O.D.O.K. on Hulu, appeared in an issue of the Spider-Bot Infinity Comic, which is written by series co-creator Jordan Blum (the relationship between M.O.D.O.K.’s on-screen family and his family in the 616 was fully explained by the miniseries M.O.D.O.K.: Head Games, written by both series co-creators, Blum and Patton Oswalt).
