One of the greatest Jedi in the Star Wars universe is back for a new mission.
Obi-Wan Kenobi, the new limited series from Lucasfilm, will debut May 25, exclusively on Disney+. The series stars Ewan McGregor, reprising his role as the iconic Jedi Master. You can get a first look at the Obi-Wan Kenobi teaser trailer below, featuring the titular hero.
The story begins 10 years after the dramatic events of Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith, in which Obi-Wan Kenobi faced his greatest defeat — the downfall and corruption of his best friend and Jedi apprentice, Anakin Skywalker, who turned to the dark side and became the evil Sith Lord, Darth Vader.
Disney released the teaser trailer yesterday to much fanfare and fandom reviews. Here are a few:

Odd that inquisitors are never mentioned or seen in the OT. Very odd.
Also odd that Luke wants to join the Imperial Academy in ep 4, if imperials have already mistreated his uncle. Also curious that Owen is fine with Luke signing up with them “next year”. Kenobi is a mess.

CANNOT WAIT!!! And i have a theory. In Return of the Jedi when LUke Says “come with me father” Darth Vader replies “Obi Wan Once thought as you do” I THINK a plot or subplot of kenobi will be OBI WAN trying to bring Darth Back to the light. Just a guess. pic.twitter.com/2PaqYbWk89
