Random: In Pokémon Legends: Arceus, Blissey Just Wants To Help

Blissey

Several series-first features have been added in Pokémon Legends: Arceus, but one of the biggest is the ability for the player to take damage — from falling, or from aggressive Pokémon. But the player can’t take potions, so if they get hurt, they have to flee from battle… Unless they find a Blissey, that is.

It turns out that Blissey and Chansey, the healing Pokémon that can often be seen in Pokémon Centers in the main games, will go out of their way to help your player if they need it.

Google Translation: “I had to take this test. In Pokémon Legends, a Blissey usually runs away when it notices you. But if you’re injured, she approaches and “hopes” for your recovery, only to run away.”

Surely they’re just doing what most of the Pokémon in the game do, and being friendly towards the player? Nope! We tested it, and here’s what we found.

First step: Take damage

You’ll know when you did it when the border around the screen changes. It’ll get progressively larger and darker, and turn red if you’re about to die.

Second step: Find a Blissey (or a Chansey!)

These can be found easily in the Alabaster Icelands.

Third step: Hang out with the Blissey until you’re all better

The Blissey will run off as soon as you’re back to full health (and the healing process will be faster than usual!)
