“We are incredibly grateful for the support the fans of Supernatural have given us over the years,” said Speight, who also served as a director on the series. “We’re excited to be a part of this special gift to the fans that will arrive just in time for Dean Winchesters’ birthday on, January 24th.” Speight also noted that “with 327 episodes, there’s a lot to untangle and so many stories to tell.”

Supernatural Then and Now will offer an inside perspective on the longest-running fantasy series on television, with cast, crew and producers appearing as guests to share behind-the-scenes stories from on-set and within the writers’ room. “This is a great way for the cast, crew and producers to continue and deepen their relationship with the fans,” said Benedict. “Even though the series has come to an end, the fans continue to be an incredibly tight and supportive community.”

The podcast will launch with two episodes on Jan. 24, with guest stars Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki, who served as co-leads on the long-running CW series as the monster-hunting brothers, Dean and Sam Winchester, respectively.
