Held every summer, the “Selection Project” reality TV show is the biggest gateway to success for young girls striving to become idols. It is there where the legendary idol Akari Amazawa was born. Suzune Miyama is one of those girls who longs to be standing on that dream stage. Ever since childhood, she has suffered from an illness and has spent much of her time in hospital rooms. In her hospital bed, she would listen to Akari’s songs on repeat, and her voice gave Suzune countless smiles and courage. This inspired her to do the same and use her own voice to comfort others, bring smiles to their faces, and spread joy and happiness just like Akari.
In her last summer of junior high school, Suzune decides to audition for the 7th season of Selection Project to make her dream come true. The girls who audition are not your ordinary kind of girls. They are fierce competitors with extraordinary charms who will do whatever it takes to win. Out of the thousands of candidates who audition, only nine stars will be selected. Now, the final stage begins and the girls must compete in the “Audition Battle” to make their idol debut dream come true!
