Loki guest star Richard E. Grant posted a behind-the-scenes video with fellow actor Owen Wilson, who offered Grant some acting advice.
Grant posted the video on his Twitter, addressing Wilson as his “new bestie,” who offers Grant some “complimentary advice.” The 10-second clip begins with Grant asking Wilson, “How do you think the scene went today, Owen?” To which Owen responds, “Fine work.” Grant breathes a sigh of relief before Wilson jokingly corrects the actor by reiterating, “No, find work, Richard.” Grant later posted a picture on his Instagram story of the pair smiling together at the Pinewood Atlanta Studios in Georgia.
Grant first appeared in Loki Episode 5, “Journey Into Mystery,” following his post-credit scene in the previous episode, as another Loki variant called Classic Loki, who provided some insight into the Avengers: Infinity War scene between Loki’s original self and Thanos on the Statesman.
Grant recently shared another behind-the-scenes look at his Classic Loki costume, following head writer Michael Waldron’s explanation that the Classic Loki character was born out of a “thought experiment.” Waldron used a what-if scenario to develop the character’s backstory and personality, by asking the question, “What if Loki did in fact survive the events of Avengers: Infinity War?”
Wilson portrays former Time Variance Authority agent, Mobius M. Mobius, an ally of Loki and Sylvie in their quest to find out who is behind the TVA. Mobius’ alliance with Tom Hiddleston’s Loki has proven beneficial for the latter’s trials throughout the series, as the plot races towards the finish line. The sixth and final episode of Loki will air on Disney+ July 14 and will be followed by Marvel’s animated series What If…?, which will begin streaming Aug. 11 on Disney+.
