The official Twitter account for Kodansha‘s Magazine Pocket app revealed on Friday that Yūichirō Momose and Kikō Aiba’s Division Rap Battle- side D.H & B.A.T manga ended with the new chapter published on Friday.

Momose writes the manga and Aiba draws the series. The manga launched on Magazine Pocket in April 2020. Kodansha published the fourth volume on September 17 and will publish the fifth volume on December 17.

The manga centers on the Osaka Division Dotsuitare Hompo and Nagoya Division Bad Ass Temple.

The Hypnosis Mic rap-themed project features voice actors who rap in the personas of original characters, and it launched in September 2017. The project includes multiple manga tie-ins, a mobile game, stage plays, and live events.

Three new manga — Hypnosis Mic: Before the Battle – Dawn of Divisions, Hypnosis Mic: side B.B & M.T.C+, and Hypnosis Mic: side F.P & M+ — launched in January.

The franchise inspired a television anime titled Hypnosis Mic -Division Rap Battle- Rhyme Anima. The anime was originally slated to premiere in July 2020, but was delayed to October 2020 due to the effects of the new coronavirus disease (COVID-19). Funimation streamed the anime as it aired in Japan.
