We had an amazing interview with content creator @KawaiiFoxita!
1. How long have you been playing The Sims?
I started playing The Sims in March 2020. I was mainly just renovating EA builds in game with pack content until around May when I was introduced to custom content.
2. What inspires your creations on The Sims?
My inspiration is mainly drawn from real world buildings because I try to recreate places as accurately as possible. I’ve sort of found my niche where I fit into the community and I’m really lucky because people seem to respond well to what I do.
3. What are some of your favorite creations you’ve done so far?
I love lots of my builds, but probably my two favourite creations are my Japanese Minimalist House and my British Council Estate Series. The first because it was something I thought up and designed completely from scratch and I’m really proud of how the place feels, and the second because the series really resonated with a lot of my followers and as they are places I grew up, I feel a very strong emotional tie to them.
4. What would you tell someone who wants to play The Sims but isn’t sure if they should?
DO IT! I would absolutely encourage anyone to jump in and have a go at building. It takes some practice, but using reference really helps and using online resources like floor plans can make life easier if you aren’t sure where to begin. Plus you can always delete it and start over. There’s no harm in trying.
5. Where can people support your work?
5. I can be found on Twitter (https://www.twitter.com/kawaiifoxita) Twitch (https://www.twitch.tv/kawaiifoxita) Instagram (https://www.instagram.com/kawaiifoxita) and I also have a website with all my builds and CC creator recommendations (https://www.kawaiifoxita.com)
6. Plans for 2022?
6. I hope that the new year will bring an opportunity to work with The Sims team and EA as part of the EA Creator Network, and mainly keep building on what I do within the community. I love to inspire people and support others so if I can keep doing that I’ll be happy!
