Going by the alias of Kira, he uses the notebook to kill criminals as part of his plan to become a god. He also uses it against people who try to uncover his identity and stop him, which led to some very interesting twists and turns as he tried to outsmart them all.
Another popular manga is Attack on Titan. If Kira was in this series, there are a lot of people he’d want to kill, but due to how well some characters have hid their identities, he wouldn’t be able to get them all.

Towards the end of the manga, Eren became the main antagonist and greatest threat that the other characters faced. He killed thousands of people when he started the Rumbling, and seeing how Kira would kill someone if they took the life of just one person, he would definitely want to kill Eren. Luckily for him, it wouldn’t be too hard since everyone in the world knew who Eren was. While the Survey Corps and Warrior Unit nearly died as they fought against him, Kira would be able to end Eren’s life in less than a minute.
9 Couldn’t Kill: “Krista Lenz” Was An Alias Used By Historia Reiss
Krista Lenz was a member of the Survey Corps and a friend to Eren, as well as many other characters who trained with her when she joined the military. However, nobody knew that her actual name was Historia Reiss and that she was the true ruler of Paradis.
Due to her being forced to use a fake name by her own father and the Military Police, Kira would write down her alias, which wouldn’t achieve anything. Only when her identity was revealed would he be able to use the notebook to kill her.

Another member of the Ackerman family, Levi, is renowned as humanity’s strongest soldier. This instantly makes him one of the most feared and hated Eldians in the series, since there’s little that can be done to defeat him. If Kira wanted to hurt Paradis, killing Levi would be one of the best things he could do.
However, because Levi’s last name being Ackerman was a mystery until the end of the Uprising arc, the Death Note wouldn’t have worked since it needs both the first and last name of an intended victim.
6 Could Kill: Erwin Smith Was The Best Commander Paradis Ever Had
Like Levi, Erwin is one of the most important members of Paradis’ military as he is the commander of the Survey Corps. However, the most important difference between the two for Kira is that Erwin’s name is known by everyone. Kira could easily learn this and write it into the Death Note to hurt Paradis. And seeing as how Erwin’s actual death in Attack on Titan impacted the Survey Corps in a terrible way, Kira’s sabotage would definitely succeed.
5 Couldn’t Kill: Ymir’s Name Was Given To Her Through Unique Circumstances
There are two characters in Attack on Titan named Ymir. The first was Ymir Fritz, who Kira could easily kill due to her being the most famous people in the history and lore of the series. The other Ymir didn’t have a family and lived on the streets until a worshiper of Ymir Fritz found her and gave her the name, as well as anything else she wanted.
Due to the strange circumstances surrounding Ymir’s name, such as not having a last name and the possibility of her having another name before being worshiped, only someone with Shinigami Eyes could see what her true name is, which Light does not have.

If Kira wanted to help the Survey Corps rather than kill their most valuable soldiers, he’d have to write the names of those who posed a threat to Paradis, with one of them being Reiner Braun. From the very beginning of the series, the Armored Titan menaced the main protagonists, and when it was revealed that Reiner was its inheritor, he became Paradis’ biggest traitor, along with Bertholdt and Annie, the Colossal and Female Titans. Upon learning their names, Kira could kill all three Warriors easily.
3 Couldn’t Kill: Rod Reiss Held A Lot Of Power But Few People Knew Who He Was
Rod Reiss may have been the king of Paradis, but his identity was a mystery to the majority of his country. Instead, it was believed that a completely unrelated man known as King Fritz was the ruler of the island. If Kira decided to kill Paradis’ ruler, he’d obviously target King Fritz, which wouldn’t actually achieve anything. As with his daughter Historia, it would take a long time for Rod to die from the Death Note because of his lesser-known name.
2 Could Kill: Willy Tybur’s Death Hurt The World
Willy Tybur is one of the most famous men in the universe of Attack on Titan, befriending people all around the world. He was able to get the people who admired him the most to go to Marley, where he declared war against Paradis broadly and Eren personally.
Even when he told them that the history his ancestors created was a lie, they still cared about him. Though his death wasn’t that sad for readers since he was only in a few chapters, it was tragic for many people in-universe, and if Kira wanted to hurt the world by writing one name down, Willy would be the best choice.
1 Couldn’t Kill: Fritz’s First Name Is Still A Mystery
The first ruler that Eldia ever had was Fritz. Despite being so critical to the narrative — since Ymir Fritz never would have made contact with the Source of All Living Matter if Fritz hadn’t hunted her down — his first name is a mystery that not even fans of the series know. Because of this, Kira would never be able to kill Fritz with the Death Note. And though Fritz was never seen as a god, the mother of his children was worshiped for centuries, ironically becoming exactly what Kira wanted to be.
