Bloodrayne 1 And 2 Are Getting “ReVamped” On Switch

Bloodrayne

This Autumn, the Nintendo Switch will be getting remastered — sorry, ahem, ReVamped versions of third-person horror action games, Bloodrayne 1 and 2.

As Rayne, a half-vampire ass-kicker and Nazi-slayer, you’ll get to face supernatural threats and use your vampiric powers to save the day. The ReVamp will add a ton of new features, enhancements, and upgrades, too:

  • Support for higher resolution displays up to 4K
  • Upscaled cinematics
  • Improved lighting and effects
  • Support for uncompressed original textures
  • Extra languages for both voiced audio and text (including French, Italian, Japanese, Russian, and Spanish)

Even better, the Switch (and the PS4) will be getting physical editions of the ReVamp through Limited Run Games, which will be available this autumn when the game comes out.

Bloodrayne Betrayal: Fresh Bites came out earlier this month, earning a 7/10 review from us which praised its visuals, sound, and combat, but found that the platforming fell flat.
