Wonder Woman cosplayer Laura Sandoval shares a photo of her rendition of Diana’s epic costume from DC’s Dark Nights: Death Metal event.

Wonder Woman cosplayer Laura Sandoval shared some of her most goddess-like cosplay based on Diana’s appearance in the DC Comic series, Dark Nights: Death Metal written by Scott Snyder and drawn by Greg Capullo.
Sandoval shared the photo of her Wonder Woman cosplay on Twitter, making sure to tweet at Capullo, the artist behind Dark Nights: Death Metal, which was a DC Comics seven-issue mini-series that ran from June 16, 2020, to Jan. 5, 2021.
The Dark Nights: Death Metal mini-series was a crossover event that served as a sequel to 2017’s Dark Nights: Metal and concluded Snyder’s run in DC Comics. Death Metal was meant to conclude both the Metal storyline, but also wrap up the New 52 and DC Rebirth continuities, with the intention of unifying every storyline from mainline DC Universe comic books (including standalone stories.)
Sandoval’s cosplay features Wonder Woman’s mighty costume from the Death Metal miniseries, in which Diana played a pivotal role through much of the story. In the final issue, Dark Nights: Death Metal #7 by Scott Snyder, Greg Capullo, Yanick Paquette, Bryan Hitch, Jonathan Glapion, FCO Plascencia, Nathan Fairbairn, Alex Sinclair and Tom Napolitano, Diana becomes the most powerful version of herself — and the most powerful Wonder Woman of all time — in order to defeat the Darkest Knight, aka the Batman Who Laughs.
