Watch: New Trailer for Netflix’s ‘Pokémon: Secrets of the Jungle’
Ash and Pikachu are heading deep into a mysterious forest for the latest Pokémon movie. Pokémon the Movie: Secrets of the Jungle will premiere on Netflix on Oct. 8, and the streaming service teamed up with The Pokémon Company to release a new trailer on Tuesday.
Secrets of the Jungle follows Ash Ketchum, as he and Pikachu explore the forest of Okoya and discover Koko, a boy who has been raised by Dada Zarude, a unique version of the Mythical Pokémon. Koko believes that he is a Pokémon, but Ash’s sudden arrival seems to have him questioning that.
Secrets of the Jungle follows an alternate Pokémon movie canon and is a sequel to I Choose You! and The Power of Us, but it isn’t connected to earlier movies in the series.
