It’s been many long months since we’ve heard a peep from The Pokémon Company about its upcoming release schedule. We’ve bided the time by snapping our way through lively jungles and beautiful coral reefs and watched the Pokémon Legends: Arceus trailer far too many times to count.
That patience is finally about to pay off for fans of the iconic series, as The Pokémon Company is finally pulling back the curtain on the mentioned above mysterious open-world title and the Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl remakes as part of the Pokémon Presents digital event.
Where there’s a Poké event, you know the fine folks at Game Informer will be there. We’re watching the Pokémon Presents stream live with you! Join The Council of Alexes (Van Aken and Stadnik) and the one and only Brian Shea as they start your morning off the right way and react to all the biggest reveals, gameplay glimpses, and whatever else we have in store.
The show begins on August 18 at 8 a.m. CT, but we’ll be going live 15 minutes earlier with our preshow to discuss our hopes and dreams for the event.
Speaking of that, if you can’t wait for another second for more Pokémon content, then you’re in the right place. We listed our predictions and hopes for Pokémon Legends and the Diamond/Pearl remakes earlier this week. Also, our own John Carson has created his spicy list of the 25 best Pokémon from the fourth generation of games. Thanks for watching, and we hope you enjoy the show!
