DC reveals the Infinite Frontier spinoff series Justice League Incarnate will introduce a mysterious new character named Dr. Multiverse.
Readers will soon meet a new DC hero named Dr. Multiverse in Justice League Incarnate, a five-issue miniseries spinning out of Infinite Frontier.
The solicitation text for Justice League Incarnate #1 by Joshua Williamson, Dennis Culver, Andrei Bressan and Brandon Peterson gives a couple of clues regarding the mysterious Dr. Multiverse. When providing a rundown of the Justice League Incarnate cast, we learn the character hails from Earth-8 and joins Flashpoint Batman, President Superman, China’s Flash from Earth-0 and Captain Carrot on the team.
Earth-8, also known as Angor, is home to the Rampaging Retaliators, who came together similarly to the Justice League in order to fight a threat neither of them could face alone. The Retaliators also had a run-in with Wally West on Earth-23 in the Flash Forward miniseries. So far, it is unknown if Dr. Multiverse has any connection to the Retaliators.
Williamson provided some more details on Justice League Incarnate on Twitter, revealing the team will race across the DC Multiverse hunting Darkseid. The miniseries will spin out of Infinite Frontier #6, each Earth the team visits will have its own artist, and new mysteries and characters will be introduced.
Justice League Incarnate #1 goes on sale Nov. 2 from DC.
