The Jedi Hunt the Nihil on The High Republic #9 Variant Covers (Exclusive)

CBR presents an exclusive first look at two variant covers for Marvel Comics’ Star Wars: The High Republic #9.

CBR can exclusively reveal two variant covers for Marvel Comics’ upcoming Star Wars: The High Republic #9, written by Cavan Scott and illustrated by Ario Anindito.

The first cover, by Leinil Francis Yu and Sunny Gho, features Sskeer charging into battle while flanked by Avar Kriss and Estala Maru. The second, by Carlo Pagulayan, Jason Paz and Rain Beredo, sees Orla Jareni clutching her Dark Rey-esque hinged lightsaber hilt.

As for the story itself, The High Republic #9 will see the Nihil on the run from the Jedi in the aftermath of The Rising Storm. However, a change of allegiances could quickly turn the tables in the favor of the evil space marauders.
