Better Call Saul’s Bob Odenkirk is in the hospital after collapsing on the set of the AMC series.

Better Call Saul titular star Bob Odenkirk was rushed to the hospital after collapsing on the set of the AMC series.
According to TMZ, Odenkirk and the rest of the cast were shooting on the Sony Lot in Culver City on July 27 when he collapsed. Crew members rushed to assist and called an ambulance. Paramedics arrived at the lot at 11:34 a.m. It is unclear if Odenkirk was conscious when he was taken to the hospital, where he is still currently undergoing care. The cause of the collapse was not disclosed. Odenkirk is 58 years old.
A prequel to Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul puts the spotlight on Odenkirk’s Jimmy McGill, a good-hearted lawyer who gets caught up in the criminal world of Albuquerque, New Mexico and becomes the greedy Saul Goodman. The series also features other Breaking Bad characters, including Jonathan Banks’ Mike Ehrmantraut, Giancarlo Esposito’s Gus Fring, Raymond Cruz’s Tuco Salamanca and Dean Norris’ Hank Schrader. It is currently filming its sixth and final season, which will premiere in 2022 and consist of 13 episodes.
Aside from Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul, Odenkirk has also appeared in the Fargo TV series, The Post, The Incredibles 2, Little Women and Nobody.
