Minato Namikaze was the Fourth Hokage of Konohagakure and a ninja who was considered to be a genius by many others in the Naruto world. Minato fought in the Third Great Ninja War, and his accomplishments across the war eventually made him the Hokage.
Sadly, he ended up dying shortly after becoming the Hokage when Obito Uchiha attacked the village with the Nine-Tails. To protect his son, Minato gave his life up and sealed the Nine-Tails away. If he were still alive, there would be a lot of things that he’d want to do.
10 He Would Still Be The Hokage Of The Village
Minato became the Hokage at an extremely young age. He’s considered to be one of the youngest Hokage in the entire story. Unfortunately, he died at the age of 24 when the Nine-Tails attacked the village. The Naruto series began 12 years after, and he would have still been the Hokage if he had survived that fateful night. In fact, he could have even been the Hokage in the Boruto series as well, since he would’ve only been in his fifties during that era of peace.
9 Minato Would Continue To Be A Legendary Ninja
Minato’s accomplishments in the Third Great Ninja War made him a true hero and earned him the title of Hokage. If he never died, he would’ve led the Fourth Great Ninja War as well and would only have become stronger. Minato’s reputation would have skyrocketed after the war, and he might’ve become more famous than any other living shinobi. Without a doubt, Minato’s legendary status would’ve been elevated ever further.
8 He Would Have Realized His Full Potential
As previously stated, Minato died at the young age of 24, meaning he was nowhere near his prime as a shinobi. Minato still had a lot of room to grow, and he would’ve become much stronger than before if he had more time. Minato’s arsenal of jutsu would’ve been much greater, and he might’ve been able to become even faster than he was during the Third Great Ninja War.
7 He Would Enjoy Fights Against Ay
Ay and Minato met during the Third Great Ninja War and fought a short-lived battle that ended in Minato’s favor. The two gained great respect for each other, and this respect only deepened with time.
If Minato were still around, the two would’ve fought on many more occasions. In fact, they could’ve even teamed up to take down huge threats like Madara.
6 He Would Have Learned The Remaining Nature Transformations
Minato was a master of three nature transformations by the age of 24, which included Wind Release, Fire Release, and Lightning Release. Although he certainly was capable, he never had the chance to learn Earth and Water Release. If Minato were still alive, it goes without saying that at some point, he would’ve learned how to use the other two nature types as well. With that, Minato could easily have increased his arsenal of jutsu further, and it would’ve made him a more versatile fighter.
5 He Would Have Perfected The Rasengan
The Rasengan was invented by Minato Namikaze by observing a Tailed Beast Ball. Although Minato’s Rasengan was extremely powerful on its own, it wasn’t perfect. Minato Namikaze wanted to complete the jutsu by adding his nature transformation to it and then altering it using shape transformation. Sadly, he died before achieving that goal. If he were still alive, however, he would definitely have added a few or all of the natures to the Rasengan and developed a stronger version of the jutsu.
4 He Would Have Perfected The Usage Of Sage Mode
At some point, Minato Namikaze learned how to use Sage Mode from Mount Myoboku. Unlike Jiraiya, Minato’s usage of the Sage Mode was incredibly refined as he could perfectly balance natural chakra with his own.
However, he couldn’t maintain this power for long. With more time, he could have experimented more with the technique and used it more efficiently.
3 He Would Teach Various Jutsu To Naruto
As Naruto’s father, it goes without saying that Minato would’ve overseen the growth of his son as a ninja. He would have helped his son out with various jutsu, and they could’ve trained together every day. In several Naruto fillers, Minato had been shown training Naruto, giving fans a taste of what could’ve been. Naruto could have even learned the various nature transformations under Minato’s guidance.
2 He Would’ve Raised Naruto With Love & Care
Throughout his childhood, Naruto felt lonely and had nobody to raise him. Naruto grew up by himself, and it was a miracle that he never went down a dark path. If Minato were alive, he would’ve made sure that Naruto never lacked anything in life, including comfort and a loving parent. Minato would have been Naruto’s rock who’d help him become a splendid human being.
1 He Would Fight Against The Kara Members
Kara is a criminal organization in the Boruto series that serves a man known as Jigen. The Kara members are quite powerful and fearsome, but what makes them truly dangerous is the fact that they want to harvest a chakra fruit on earth. If Minato were alive, he would definitely have fought against the Kara members already. While he might not have defeated Jigen, he could’ve done a lot of damage to the organization by himself.
