Written by Tom Taylor and Brian Buccellato with dozens of different artists working on each issue, Injustice runs the gambit of testing Superman’s new immoral regime against the likes of the Green Lantern Corps, the Greek gods, and ancient magics. While Superman and Batman’s rivalry is the key focus of the story, there are several side characters given the spotlight and their adventures are what make the comic special.

Unfortunately, like in the main canon, Ted Kord is destined to die and Booster desperately wants to do whatever he can to save him. In a wonderfully solemn moment, Booster accepts the finality of Ted’s death and gives his goodbyes before Ted does something more heroic than anything he thought he could do before.

While it’s implied that the Teen Titans died long ago, it’s instead revealed that the team was trapped in the Phantom Zone.
