Most people, whether real or fictional, prefer to be in the company of others over being alone. Many would say that they find themselves to be better versions of themselves when they’re around other people. The world of Star Wars is full of these types of characters. People such as Obi-Wan Kenobi and Han Solo are clearly better versions of themselves when they’re surrounded by their allies. However, there are those that don’t fit under this category.
The Star Wars galaxy is home to some people who simply find that they work better on their own, without any help. This trait is common among the bounty hunters and evildoers of the galaxy, but even some good and honorable beings follow the path of solitude. It’s safe to say that for these various characters, strength doesn’t always come in numbers.
10 Boba Fett Became The Deadliest Bounty Hunter In The Galaxy
One of the most notorious names in the entire Star Wars galaxy is Boba Fett. He is a clone of Jango Fett, a Mandalorian bounty hunter from the days of the Clone Wars, who essentially took Boba in as his own son. After his father’s death at the hands of Mace Windu, Boba sought revenge against the Jedi with the help of others, but this led to his arrest.
Perhaps because of this, Boba decided that he wanted to be a bounty hunter as well. He honed his skills throughout the galaxy as a lone wolf, only working with others if a job called for it. Even then, there was always a good chance that the infamous hunter would turn on his partners in order to get a bigger payday.
9 Asajj Ventress Rediscovered Herself After Being Betrayed By Her Master
Asajj Ventress has had quite a unique set of experiences throughout her life. She was forced into slavery early in her life, but soon found her way to becoming a Padawan in the Jedi Order. However, this did not last long, as she was recruited to be Count Dooku’s assassin after her Jedi master was killed.
It seems that none of her relationships can ever end well, because Dooku tried to have her killed, at the behest of Darth Sidious. Once she was free of any ties to other people, it seems she truly found herself and in turn became a bounty hunter. But alas, the curse of her relationships struck once again after meeting her death because of her love for a Jedi named Quinlan Vos.
8 Quinlan Vos Isn’t The Easiest Jedi To Work With
Jedi Master Quinlan Vos is unlike any other Jedi to have ever been part of the Order. He has the ability to sense other people’s memories through an object which they have touched. Because of this, he became an extremely skilled tracker, mainly working these types of missions on his own.
He is also known to be difficult to work with, most likely because of his usual solitude. However, when he’s working alone, there’s never any doubt that he will successfully complete whatever mission he’s currently on.
7 The Mandalorian Always Completes His Contracts Alone
The Mandalorian, or Mando, whose real name is Din Djarin, is one of the newest bounty hunters to be introduced in the Star Wars franchise. He has made a reputation for himself as an extremely reliable hunter whose skill and tenacity are unrivaled by almost all other bounty hunters in the New Republic Era.
Due to this, he is often given the toughest and most important contracts. Unsurprisingly, he always completes them and collects his well-earned reward in the end. A Din Djarin armed with his beskar armor, pistol, rifle, and wrist launcher is one of the most formidable forces in the entire galaxy.
6 Fives Almost Ended The Biggest Plot In Sar Wars On His Own
Order 66 is and will always be one of the most important events in Star Wars history. This is the exact moment that the Republic fell and the Empire began its reign of terror in the galaxy. Fives, an ARC trooper, witnessed his clone brother, Tup, execute Jedi Master Tiplar. After accompanying his friend to Kamino, he discovered that all clones had inhibitor chips place in their brains, and he rightfully suspected the worst.
He attempted to expose the plot he suspected, but Chancellor Palpatine accused the clone of trying to assassinate him, destroying his credibility. He was unfortunately killed, but that shouldn’t take away from the impressive work he did all by himself.
5 Aurra Sing Is One Of The Deadliest Women In The Galaxy
Anybody who came across Aurra Sing knew to immediately fear for their life. As one of the most well-known bounty hunters in all the galaxy, she alone forged a reputation for being a ruthless assassin and always getting the job done. Her combat abilities and impressive sniping skills made even the Jedi wary of facing her.
Like the vast majority of bounty hunters in the galaxy, she mainly worked alone, but unlike them, she excelled in these situations and was far more dangerous than most hunters could ever hope to be.
4 Crosshair Doesn’t Need His Brothers
For practically his entire life, Crosshair, a mutated clone, served in the Republic with his brothers, Wrecker, Tech, Hunter, and eventually, Echo. Together, they were known as The Bad Batch.
When the Empire began to establish itself during the fall of the Republic, Crosshair betrayed his brothers and sided with the Empire. Under his new masters, he was able to really show his skills as a marksman, assassin, and ruthless commando. He sided with evil because he wanted to be at the top of the food chain in the galaxy, and at this point in his life, he certainly showed that he has the capabilities to do so.
3 Cad Bane Has An Impressive Track Record
Cad Bane is one of the most important characters to have made their first appearance in Star Wars: The Clone Wars. He is in the upper echelon of bounty hunters, in terms of success, skill, and notoriety. He has accomplished things that almost no other bounty hunter could come close to achieving.
He outsmarted and defeated both Anakin and Ahsoka all by himself, in “Cargo of Doom,” Episode 202 of The Clone Wars. He also outdueled both Obi-Wan and Quinlan Vos, two Jedi Masters, during the events of “Hunt for Ziro,” Episode 309 of The Clone Wars. Bane is not someone that anyone should ever take lightly.
2 Darth Sidious’ Plans Are Always Ruined By His Allies
It must be extremely frustrating to be in control of an entire galaxy in one moment, and then dead in the next moment, all because of your most trusted ally. Darth Sidious would surely know how this feels. If not for Darth Vader’s betrayal, he, through the Empire, would likely still be the sole ruler of the galaxy.
Furthermore, if he had not brought Kylo Ren into his plans for reinstituting his reign over the galaxy in Episode IX and just killed him, it’s very likely that he would’ve been able to defeat Rey and the rest of the Rebellion. Because of these major events, it’s safe to say that Sidious should just stick to working alone.
1 Ahsoka Became More Powerful Than Most Jedi After She Left The Order
Ahsoka Tano is also another immensely important character to have debuted in the masterpiece that is The Clone Wars. She began as Anakin’s young and inexperienced Padawan and eventually grew into a powerful force of good in the galaxy. To do this, however, she had to leave the Jedi Order.
She defeated Maul, an extremely dangerous adversary, all on her own after this. After the fall of the Republic, she even fought Darth Vader, one of the most powerful Force users of all time, and while she didn’t defeat him, she came very close.
