Black Adam is one of the most powerful anti-heroes in the DC Multiverse and he’s about to take the world by storm. With a Dwayne Johnson fronted movie coming out, Black Adam is at his most visible and that’s a great thing. While he started out as a villain, his time with the Justice Society and the Justice League have shown that he’s a great a hero when he wants to be.
Over the years, Black Adam has defeated many of DC’s most powerful combatants, most without much of a challenge. While the heroes of Marvel are pretty powerful, many of its most formidable heroes would fall to Black Adam.
10 Black Panther Is Good But He Doesn’t Have The Power To Stand Up To Black Adam
Black Panther is one of Marvel’s greatest heroes. While he doesn’t have the raw power of many others, he makes up for it with his intelligence and gadgets. On top of that, all of his weapons being made of vibranium is a big help, as the metal’s unique properties give him an edge. Unfortunately for him, that edge isn’t going to help much against Black Adam.
Black Adam is Superman level strong and unbelievably fast. Nothing Black Panther can bring to bear is going to make a lick of difference against Black Adam’s power and that’s going to make it a very one-sided fight.
9 Wonder Man Would Get Overwhelmed By Black Adam
The Avengers is full of powerhouses, and Wonder Man has always been among the most potent. Powered by ionic energy, he’s superlatively strong and can take tremendous punishment. Even death doesn’t stop him, as he’s an energy being who can take on a corporeal body. While that’s all well and good, it won’t help him against Black Adam.
The problem comes in that as strong as Wonder Man is, he isn’t as strong as Black Adam. Wonder Man is going to have to fistfight Adam, and that’s going to spell his doom. He just can’t hang with someone as strong as Black Adam.
8 Captain Marvel Has Black Adam Beat In Some Places But Not Enough To Win
Captain Marvel is extremely powerful and she has some definite advantages over Black Adam. Her energy powers are greater and she’s also faster in flight than him. While she’s also quite skilled, her experience doesn’t really compare to his and she’s also vastly weaker. While it would definitely be an epic battle, it’s not one she’d be able to win.
Captain Marvel’s only hope is to blast away at Black Adam from a distance, but he’s nearly as mobile as she is. He would be able to get in close and once that happens, the fight is all but over. Captain Marvel is good but she couldn’t stand up to Black Adam’s overwhelming strength.
7 Spider-Man’s Spider-Sense Wouldn’t Save Him From Black Adam
Spider-Man has been through a lot of changes, but one thing that’s stayed the same is his ability to kick butt. While he’s not the strongest or the fastest, his spider sense and sheer obstinance have allowed him to punch way above his weight class. That’s not going to help much against Black Adam, though.
The problem comes in that Black Adam is so much faster than Spider-Man. With Spider-Man jumping around and evading his blows, Adam’s just going to turn on the speed and that’s going to be all she wrote for Spider-Man. He only has to land one punch and eventually, he would.
6 Colossus Wouldn’t Hold Out For Long Against Black Adam
Colossus comes from a family of powerful mutants and is one of the X-Men’s strongest members. He’s the team’s most efficient muscle, strong enough to punch it out with the strongest foes and durable enough to take everything they can throw at him. Colossus’s strength and durability have served him well but they wouldn’t be enough against Black Adam.
Black Adam is so much stronger than Colossus. Even Colossus’s strongest blows would do negligible damage to Black Adam, but the same can’t be said for Adam’s attacks. They’d have a massive effect on Colossus and eventually, his organic steel frame wouldn’t be able to handle them.
5 Black Adam Would Quickly Overwhelm The Thing
The Thing is as tough as they come, but that’s not going to be of much help against Black Adam. The Thing isn’t even on the Hulk’s level, let alone Black Adam’s, and while he’s certainly a skilled combatant, he doesn’t bring much else to the table. He can hit hard but against someone like Black Adam, that won’t be enough.
Black Adam’s speed, flight, and magical lightning give him way more combat options than the Thing. He can fly circles around the rocky titan, bashing him with blows that are way stronger than anything the Thing can take. It would be a rather short fight.
4 Hyperion Versus Black Adam Would Be Epic But Hyperion Would Lose
Hyperion is one of Marvel’s most powerful heroes. This is rather fitting, as he’s Marvel premiere Superman analog. While he’s certainly powerful – various multiversal versions of him have destroyed every Marvel hero and villain in their way – he’s not quite on Black Adam’s level. As far as it goes, Hyperion would be quite challenging for Black Adam but he’d still lose.
Black Adam is more powerful but his biggest advantage is the experience edge. Black Adam is so much more experienced than Hyperion that even though their power levels are relatively close, Black Adam could outfight Hyperion. It wouldn’t be an easy win but Black Adam would still triumph.
3 Black Adam Would Destroy Iron Man
Iron Man is one of Marvel’s most iconic heroes. His various suits of armor have helped him in many battles over the years but they’ve also failed just as often. It’s basically a problem of durability; while he can make something like the Hulkbuster armor very strong, he can’t build it to stand up to the abuse Hulk can dish out. That’s why Black Adam will beat him.
Iron Man’s strongest armor is nowhere near strong enough to protect him from Black Adam’s attacks. While Iron Man’s brains would keep him in the fight for a bit, Black Adam’s sheer power advantage would prove to be too much for Iron Man.
2 Thor Would Be A Great Challenge For Black Adam, But He’d Triumph
Thor has faced down some of the most dangerous foes imaginable. He’s as formidable as they come and his variety of powers matches Black Adam’s rather well. Mjolnir is a devastating weapon and Thor being a god seemingly gives him all of the advantages. Appearances can be very deceiving, and that’s going why Black Adam is going to win.
Black Adam is stronger and faster than Thor. While they’re about even when it comes to experience, the fact that this battle would devolve into a brawl, which gives Black Adam the advantage. He’s smart enough to use his strength and speed to overwhelm Thor, which will make all the difference.
1 Black Adam Would Take Down Hulk Before He Got Too Strong
Hulk is amazing in a fight but he’s not unbeatable. The key to winning a fight against the Hulk is to take him down before he gets too strong, and Black Adam has the tools for that. To begin with, he’s much, much stronger than Hulk is right off the bat. It would take Hulk a lot of time and rage to get to Black Adam’s level. Even then, he couldn’t match Black Adam’s speed.
His magical lightning bolts give him another advantage, as Black Adam can use them to get some separation. From there, he would fly around the Hulk and hit him with super strong and fast blows that would take their toll on the Hulk. Black Adam would beat the Hulk before he became truly unstoppable.
