L was good enough at fighting that he easily fought Light while being handcuffed to him, so L fighting someone with no physical restrictions would give him enough agility and mobility to avoid his demise.

Cure Macaron was one of the smartest Pretty Cures in Kira Kira Pretty Cure A La Mode since she easily figured out that Rio was none other than the villainous Julio. Her quick thinking and impressive perceptiveness would also help her save herself from being murdered by anyone else wanting to kill her and get away with it.
She was also a good liar and could deceive others into thinking that someone else killed the victim instead, considering that she lied about having an older sister she was jealous to expose Rio as Julio.
6 Azusa Is Too Overpowered To Be Killed By Anyone (I’ve Been Killing Slimes)
Azusa was extremely overpowered with many magical abilities, making it hard for her to be killed by anyone else since she could easily defend herself. Azusa can create her own spells, and she could escape the death games by making a spell that either destroyed the mastermind.
She could also break down any barriers keeping her and the others trapped in the same area. Azusa’s intellect would also help her uncover who killed whom in the death games or unmask the mastermind behind the whole situation.

Najimi was perceptive enough to figure out that Yamai kidnapped Tadano and cleverly used Komi as an excuse to get access to Yamai’s house and save Tadano before she could harm him. These clues could help Najimi figure out who the true criminal is during a trial. Since Najimi was so friendly, it could also prevent others from killing them based on Najimi easily becoming very trustworthy in the potential killers’ eyes.

Sebastian was a literal demon and that gave him immunity from many regular weapons by default. This trait alone would make it near-impossible to kill Sebastian. Sebastian was also smart enough to figure out who killed whom in The Book Of Murder OVA.
He could even pretend to be an actual detective, so he could use his powers of deduction to point out who the real murderer was and, potentially, unmask the mastermind behind the death games. However, Sebastian could also use his abilities to kill everyone else and get away with it, leading to him winning the death games.

Phoenix Wright was a successful attorney and he usually unmasked who the true criminal was during a trial. His great observations and deductions would help him figure out who the real killer was and potentially help reveal the true criminal who’s trapping everyone in the death games.
Since Phoenix is fairly good at talking to others and socializing outside of trials, he could also learn about the others’ secrets and true personalities. His ability to connect with others would further help him incriminate those guilty of murder.
2 Kuro Can Destroy Everything Just By Being In The Same Place For Too Long (Restaurant To Another World)
Kuro kept an elven appearance in Restaurant To Another World, but she was a black dragon in reality. She was so destructive that being in one place for too long could destroy everyone and everything possible.
Although she never destroyed the Western Nekoya Restaurant while working there, since she never stayed there too long. Being trapped in one location with several other people for an undetermined period would lead to her accidentally killing everyone. Kuro would win the death game by default since no one else would be left alive to incriminate her for killing them.
1 Yumeko Jabani Is Extremely Lucky & Highly Strategic (Kakegurui)
Yumeko Jabani became extremely rich from gambling thanks to her great luck and sense of strategy. These traits could also help her figure out who the murderer is and reveal the mastermind behind who initially trapped everyone.
She was observant to the point of detecting tiny details in modified cards with a glance and identifying whether weapons were loaded by testing their weight. Her extreme charisma would also help her get close to people and learn about their true natures, which would further help her identify the murderers.
