Demon Slayer is a hit shonen fantasy anime starring the slayer Tanjiro Kamado, one of the newest recruits in the Demon Slayer Corps. Kyojuro isn’t looking for a conventional dating partner or spouse. He needs what Tengen Uzui has: a loyal companion who he can appreciate as a dear partner and a trustworthy ally in combat. Each of Tengen’s wives is a warrior/girlfriend hybrid of sorts.
Kyojuro could get some ranged support if he recruited Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood‘s Lieutenant Riza Hawkeye to the team, a sharpshooter from the Amestris armed forces. She is tough but fair — a disciplined and kind soldier who puts duty and justice first. Kyojuro would be delighted to meet her.

My Hero Academia‘s dragon hero Ryukyu is rather modest about her abilities as a Pro Hero, but she ranks in Japan’s top 10 for a reason. In combat, Ryukyu can transform into a massive dragon to crush her foes with impunity, and she can even fly. She also took part in the Shie Hassaikai raid, along with other Pro Heroes.
Ryukyu could do a lot of good in the fight against demonkind, even if she lacks a Nichirin to finish them off. On a personal level, he would like Ryukyu even more, appreciating her heroic spirit, courage, and beauty.
8 Diane Packs A Serious Punch (The Seven Deadly Sins)
Diane is a giant from the land of Megadozer in The Seven Deadly Sins. While her true form is huge, she can shrink down to human size when it’s convenient, and that would be vital if she intends to travel across Taisho-era Japan with Kyojuro Rengoku. Her true form would alert every demon in the area.
Diane is a holy knight who’s wholly dedicated to the pursuit of peace and justice and she will gladly leap into combat if it means defending the innocent from harm across the Liones Kingdom. She’s also a cheerful and loyal ally who’s easy to get along with and will risk life and limb for the mission.
7 Yoruichi Shihoin Is Funny But Deadly As An Assassin (Bleach)
All three of Tengen Uzui’s wives are trained ninjas, and now it’s Kyojuro’s turn to get a ninja partner. Bleach‘s Yoruichi Shihoin is no ordinary Soul Reaper — in fact, she’s never seen using her zanpakuto. Instead, she’s a trained assassin who has the fastest flash step in the entire Soul Society.
Yoruichi could easily pummel demons into submission so Kyojuro could finish them off. She could easily track down more demons and lure them into traps to make Kyojuro’s job easier. It also helps that she’s a brave but kind and funny person, much like Kyjuro himself. They’d hit it off right away.
6 Shion Has A Sword & A Big Heart (That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime)
Ultimately, Reincarnated as a Slime‘s ogre warrior secretary Shion is most loyal to her isekai hero, Rimuru Tempest. She would do anything for him. Still, if Rimuru ordered her to, she would visit Taisho-era Japan and help Kyojuro fight demon hordes night after night.
Shion has a mighty sword of her own, though she could swap it out for a Nichirin sword as a temporary demon slayer. She’s an enthusiastic and brave fighter whose cheerful, can-do attitude makes her easy to like. She would really brighten Kyojuro’s day.
5 Raphtalia Learned How To Fight (The Rising Of The Shield Hero)
The Rising of the Shield Hero‘s Raphtalia is one of Naofumi Iwatani’s best allies in the ongoing battle against the Waves. She’s deeply thankful for Naofumi buying her as a former slave and giving her a new purpose in life as a member of his party. She wields a sword in battle and fears no enemy.
Raphtalia could swap her sword for a Nichirin version and loyally fight by Kyojuro’s side against a wide variety of demons up and down Japan. Raphtalia would also see the goodness burning bright in Kyojuro’s heart, and that would help motivate her to fight even harder.
4 Mirajane Strauss Treats Everyone Like Family (Fairy Tail)
Mirajane Strauss ranks among the Fairy Tail guild’s strongest wizards, and she’s one of the most popular, too. Mirajane is beloved for her kind big-sister attitude, her beauty, and most of all, her formidable combat prowess as a loyal wizard. She wields Take-Over magic and can emulate a demon in battle.
Mirajane would gladly fight by Kyojuro’s side and she would think of him as an honorary Fairy Tail wizard. In return, Kyojuro would put Mirajane’s incredible power to good use against the Demon Moons. He would grow very close to her as her partner
3 Asuna Yuuki Is A Mighty Sword Maiden (Sword Art Online)
Sword Art Online‘s Asuna Yuuki would make an excellent ally and romantic partner for many shonen heroes. Asuna is fiercely loyal, brave, and very kind, and she will never hesitate to fight if it means defending the innocent or striking down a villain. To her, duty means everything.
Asuna is an excellent fighter in swordplay, which will be vital during her time as Kyojuro’s wife. Asuna is also a wonderful person on the inside. She’s the one who adopted the fairy Yui as a foster mother, and Asuna helped create a warm and loving household. Kyojuro can’t wait to meet her.
2 Maki Zenin Is A Fine Sorcerer (Jujutsu Kaisen)
Maki Zenin and her sister Mai were rejected by their traditionalist sorcerer family in Jujutsu Kaisen, and Maki resolved to break away from the family to make something of herself on her own. Mai had no choice but to follow her sister’s lead, no matter how difficult the path was.
All this creates serious tension and stress in Maki’s life, but Kyojuro Rengoku would warmly accept her for who she is, as demon slayers aren’t the type to reject female warriors by any means. Maki can relax and be herself around Kyojuro as a powerful and friendly warrior, and sparks might soon fly between them.
1 Maki Oze Is An Excellent Fire Soldier (Fire Force)
Maki Oze once served in the Tokyo Empire’s military in Fire Force until she and Lieutenant Hinawa became fire soldiers to make the most of their unique ignition abilities. Now, Maki is a loyal and reliable member of Company 8, serving faithfully under Captain Akitaru Obi.
Maki is already used to fighting monsters, and switching to fighting demons should be no big deal. She can grievously injure demons with her fire until Kyojuro can finish them with his flame breathing technique. In between battles, Kyojuro and Maki would have a wonderful time getting to know one another.
